Parents Thoughts

“My son is in a classroom with 3 other students, 1 teacher and 4 aides. All of the staff know how to work with him. It’s great to be well supported and have my son be exposed to different people. I am grateful to have support with the family liaison who connects me with a home plan to keep consistent with strategies taught at school.”

“Everyone at the school was patient. All the staff, from the top administrators to the operations manager and the instructional aides were all on the same page and supported my son. This multi-disciplinary approach was so important and it has helped my son to communicate, use sensory strategies to regulate, learn to socialize, acquire vocational skills and continue to grow and learn each year. I am greateful.”

“When we visited WINGS, it was as if all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place. The WINGS campus was open, bright and calm. The staff had well-informed answers for all our questions and there were many. There was nothing N. could do that they had not seen before. It seemed that, when teaching moderate-severe autistic kids like N., WINGS simply “got it”.”

“My daughter has been a student at wings for 12 years.  They took her in when no one else could deal with her.  They have help us through some truly rough times always with compassion.  She is not easy and my wife and I don’t know what we would have done without WINGS.  The staff are as close to angels as it gets.  They work so hard and truly care about the kids and their families.  We love our WINGS family and are very grateful to them.”
